Kids' Courses

Would you like your kids to take part in really fun cooking lessons? We run three courses a week for 5-8 year olds, 9-12 year olds and 13-16 year olds, where they can come along to individual classes or take part in a course of classes, and can build their skill set week by week.

Lessons are an hour and a half long, with the younger two age groups on Wednesdays and the older children on Thursdays. Kids will learn to cook healthy food ranging from easy suppers, healthy snacks and the odd sweet treat.

We have ten years of experience cooking with young children and promise to make the sessions engaging, lively and educational. We also guarantee that by the end of a course of lessons they will have broadened their horizons and will be willing to try new foods.

Over the summer holidays 2018 we'll be running the following timetable:

Infant kids club runs from 9.30 - 11.00 on Wednesdays.
Junior kids club runs from 13.00 - 14.30 on Wednesdays.
Teenager kids club runs from 14.00-15.30 on Thursdays.

Abonnements: A single 1.5 hour lesson is 45chf, but if you want to book a course of 5, 10 or 15 classes, this drops to 40chf, 35chf and 30chf per class respectively. Classes do not have to be taken consecutively, but you will need to book in advance for each class to ensure there is a space for you. Please contact the school directly on info@cookinthealps.com to book an abonnement, as unfortunately our online booking system isn’t able to process this at the moment.

"My 9 year old son has been learning to cook under the guidance of Cat for the past 4 months. He comes home after every class so excited, clutching his recipe and talking non stop about what he cooked. He has started eating foods he used to hate and best of all he now cooks for the family on Friday night!! I cannot thank Cat enough for sharing her love of cooking with him, and consequently us!" S. Cakes & classes

I first met Cat when she designed and produced my son’s christening cake. Her talent was obvious then and it was a much photographed and admired cake! Her plans to pass on her skill to the next generation will no doubt be a huge success - with my culinary ability, I’ll be first through the door!!
