Private Adults' Classes
Your private cookery class can be tailored to suit your needs perfectly. Perhaps you'd like an individual class dedicated to one particular skill, or maybe you'd like to offer an unforgettable bespoke experience to a friend or family member. Or are you searching for a fun-packed group activity among friends or as a family?
We can put together a session that features exactly the kind of menu and skill-levels you are looking for, all in our beautiful purpose-built venue right in the centre of Verbier.
- Classes can range from 2 hours to 5 hours in length
- We can suggest class formats or work with you to create a truly unique event
- Perfect for families or groups of friends
- Includes a glass of wine/beer (more can be purchased if desired)
- Includes either enjoying the fruits of your labours in our dining room afterwards, or else taking your tasty treats away with you (depending on the class)

At Mountain Thyme we can organise private classes for children too. These sessions can be the perfect group event for a birthday celebration, a series of classes to give them fundamental skills or just a really fun, creative activity!
We have over ten years' experience cooking with young children and we promise to make the sessions engaging, lively and educational. We also strongly believe that cookery lessons broaden their food horizons so they will be more willing to try new foods. We also have age-appropriate equipment ready for them to use, a height-adjustable work station and a raft of delicious recipes at our fingertips. Classes can be arranged to suit your requirements perfectly, and can last from one hour to 3 hours, depending on your needs and the ages and numbers of children. We tend to focus on savoury dishes principally for health reasons, but sweet treats are not overlooked!
